Part-time Apothecary Assistant & Community Apprenticeships
The Little Herb Shoppe has been serving our local and online community since 2011.
We're passionate about helping people heal.
We’re hiring for a part-time Time Apothecary Assistant for approximately 9-10 hours/week and Community Herbal Apprentices.
Apothecary Assistants support our Customers and our Herbalist with our Beautiful Customers and Herbal Products.
Pay for Apothecary Assistants are based on experience - If you have strong retail and/or manufacturing experience, pay rate is $15-$22.
Community Apprenticeships are an herbal and apothecary education that you pay for, just like any other herbal education.
You’ll learn a lot, and have fun as you work in a beautiful space, doing beautiful work.
In an apothecary, we need people who are naturally attentive to detail, and who are comfortable following procedures and sanitation measures. We want to be around someone who is kind and professional and who is comfortable taking to and guiding our customers.
Are you someone who is looking for a small local business that makes a difference in the health of our local and wider community?
If so, please email your resume to Kim at Info@LittleHerbShoppe.com with HIRING or Apprenticeship in the subject line. And click HERE to fill out this brief questionnaire.

“Working at The Little Herb Shoppe has been such a rewarding experience. The intention here is set for the highest level of care—every tea, tincture, and salve is meticulously crafted on-site to nourish the body, alongside classes, transformative programs, retreats, and even a nonprofit, all created by the brilliant herbalist Kim Hudson. It’s a space where true healing from within begins, and I’m so grateful to be learning on a much deeper level exactly what we do here.” ~ Heather, past employee
“Working at The Little Herb Shoppe has been a huge highlight of my life, a medicine in itself. I can’t explain the warmth and healing that emanates from this space, the plant remedies that fill it, the staff, and of course our head herbalist, Kim. There is a magic here that’s palpable and an integrity in every product that shines. The smells are divine, the conversations juicy, and the daily tasks in alignment with a deeper connectivity to our planet.” ~  Amber, past employee
